Terms of Service
Last updated 28 July 2026
In short: the tools are free but need an account, and are provided as-is. Use them on sites you own or have permission to analyse, do not try to overwhelm the service, and understand that the data they return comes from third parties and may be wrong. The detail is below.
1. These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and CadenceSEO(“we”, “us”). They apply whenever you use this site or the tools on it. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data and forms part of these terms.
2. What we provide
A collection of free SEO tools. Some fetch a page you nominate and analyse it; others query third-party data providers on your behalf. The service is offered free of charge and we may change, limit or discontinue any part of it at any time.
3. Accounts
An account is required to use the tools. To create one you must be at least 13 years old — and at least 16 if you are in the UK or the EEA — give accurate information, and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at kevin@cadenceseo.com if you believe it has been compromised. You may close your account at any time.
4. Acceptable use
The tools instruct our servers to make requests to addresses you supply. That capability comes with conditions. You agree not to:
- submit any site you do not own, control, or have permission to analyse, where that analysis would breach the site’s terms, its robots directives, or any law;
- use the service to probe, scan or test the security of any system, or to gain unauthorised access to anything;
- direct the tools at internal, private or non-public network addresses;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent our rate limits, quotas or authentication, including by automating requests, using multiple addresses, or scripting the interface;
- resell, redistribute or systematically extract the service or the data it returns;
- use the service to send anything unlawful, infringing or malicious, or in any way that harms the service or its other users.
We enforce per-user rate limits and daily ceilings to keep the service available and its costs bounded. Attempting to evade them is a breach of these terms.
5. What you submit
You keep any rights you have in the addresses and content you submit. You grant us permission to process them for the sole purpose of running the request you asked for, including passing a domain to a third-party data provider where the tool requires it. You confirm you have the right to submit what you submit.
6. Accuracy of results
The tools report what they observe at the moment they run, and much of what they report — backlink data in particular — comes from third-party providers whose coverage is incomplete and whose figures we cannot verify. Results may be wrong, stale, or inconsistent with other tools.
Nothing here is professional advice. Decisions you take about a website on the basis of these results are yours alone, and you should verify anything that matters.
7. Availability
We give no uptime commitment. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, because a third-party provider is down, or because a daily usage ceiling has been reached. We are not liable for any consequence of unavailability.
8. Our intellectual property
The site, its design, its branding and its underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the service as intended, and nothing more. You may use the output of a tool for your own purposes, including commercially.
9. Third-party sites and services
The service links to and retrieves content from sites we do not control, and relies on third-party providers. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms, not ours.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer where the law does not permit it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of your use of the service — whether or not we were told such damages were possible.
Because the service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, including any claim brought by the owner of a site you submitted without permission.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your use threatens the service or another user. You may stop using the service at any time. The sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 10, 11 and 12 — do.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms. If a change is material we will give account holders reasonable notice.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by the federal laws of the United States where those apply. The state and federal courts located in Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.
If you are a consumer resident outside the United States, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
16. General
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor to our business.
